Getting to the Forum

On foot: 20 minutes on foot from Kintetsu Nara Station Exit 2.

By bus: 1) Take Nara Kotsu Bus No. 1  from the stop at Exit 5 at Kintetsu Nara Station. 2) Take the Nara Kotsu Bus No. 2 from JR Nara Station. Both these buses go towards Kasuga Taisha Shrine. Get off at Nara Kasugano International Forum.

Getting to Nara City from Kansai International Airport (KIX)

You can get to downtown Nara from Kansai International Airport (KIX) easily by train or limousine bus. The latter is easiest if you have luggage, the former is the best choice for those traveling with a JR Rail Pass who wish to save money.

Limousine Bus: ¥2050 (one way), 90 minutes, board at the bus stop outside the arrivals hall at KIX. The bus has stops at Tenri, Nara Hotel, Kintetsu Nara before terminating at JR Nara Railway Station. Buses run every hour.
A return fare is ¥3,900 and must be used within 14 days of the first trip.

JR Line: ¥2180, about 70 minutes (not including waiting time between trains), take the JR Haruka Airport Express and switch to a JR Yamatoji Kaisoku (express) at Tennoji Station and get off at JR Nara Station.

Nara Sites of Interest

Kintetsu: 12 minutes walk from Kintetsu Nara Station.

Second HANNA road: 15 minutes by car from the HORAI inter. Nishimeihan highway 30 minutes by car from Koriyama and Tenri I.C.
