Mokuhanga & Nara
The new dates for the conference are Wednesday December 1 to Friday December 3, 2021. The registration process is open again for the conference in Nara, and for the virtual conference. Please see the revised fees below.
A Registration Fee (see options below) is required for participation in the programs organized by the 2021 International Mokuhanga Association. Registration is required for all paper presenters as well as workshop and demonstration presenters. In addition to the general registration fee, there are small additional fees for participation in the Open Portfolio Exhibition and Product Showcase.
Please note: To those who have already paid the registration fees by the old rates, you will receive an e-mail about a refund of the difference from the administration of IMC 2021 in a few days. Please contact , if you haven’t received an email by Saturday, September 11, 2021.

- Attendance at the IMC Conference in Nara for those who are in Japan, or can visit Japan
- Entry to all virtual conference proceedings, and online catalogues
- Online access to all events, papers, Q&A forums, demonstrations, exhibitions and portfolios
One-Day Passes are for visitors to the conference site at Kasugano International Forum in Nara and NOT available for the virtual conference. One-Day Passes for any day between December 1 and December 3, 2021 can be purchased online or at the conference check-in desk. These include admission to all presentations or workshops and demonstrations on a single day. Payment method: Cash or VISA or Mastercard credit cards only.
Note: One-Day Passes are not designed for delegates to the conference who will present a paper, hold a workshop or demonstration, or present a group project, who are expected to pay the full registration fee.
There is no fee to attend the Exhibitions and Satellite Events in Nara, Kyoto and Osaka.

Payment is to be made to the following PayPal account: . If you do not have a PayPal account you will need to open one. Once you have opened an account, click on send money, and type in as the receiver. Please make the payment in Japanese yen according to the package you have selected above. When you send payment, fill in the PayPal details with your name and which package you are purchasing. *Please note that the PayPal commissions have already been added to the total amount. Once payment has been processed, a note of confirmation will be sent to you.
All IMC 2021 cancellations and requests for refunds must be made by e-mail to the IMC Head Office. Telephone or postal mail requests will not be honored. All refunds will be processed after the conclusion of the conference. Refund transfer fees and charges will be borne by the applicant.
For cancellations received on or before October 7, 2021: full refund.
For cancellations received between October 8 and 21, 2021 (inclusive): 50% refund.
There is no refund for cancellations received on or after October 22, 2021.
